CONTAINER FARM RETROFITS

Convert underperforming or decommissioned hydroponic container farms into soil-based growing spaces. There are dozens of inactive units in northern communities—our system turns these containers into productive farms.

Building on the success of our retrofit of a hydroponic container farm in Fort Chipewyan, we are currently designing a standardized conversion package. Details will be released when our design is finalized.

While highly controlled hydroponic vertical farms are ideal for consistent leafy green and herb production, most communities desire a far more diverse range of crops.

Our retrofit of a hydroponic container farm in Fort Chipewyan enabled the community to grow year-round root crops such as radishes. These results were achieved despite suboptimal grow lighting engineered for leafy greens rather than high-value root crops and fruiting vegetables.

Sea to Sky Botanics’ system uses the most advanced LED grow lighting technology available for high-value crop production, delivering yields and quality that will surpass the results achieved in Fort Chipewyan.
